Swimming Pool Admission Policy

Please read Swimming Pool Admissions Policy if bringing children under eight years old swimming. Thank you.

Health and Safety in the Water

To maintain good water quality, we request that all swimmers shower before swimming.

Please note that all babies and toddlers must wear a swim nappy as accidents lead to pool closures.

We will allow under 5s to wear a clean shorty wetsuit in the pool for public sessions and lessons although please be aware that doing so may cause restriction in movement during lessons.

We thank you for your cooperation in these areas.

Tempus Swim Academy

STA%20SWIM%20LOGO_l

The Tempus Swim Academy incorporates the STA International Learn to Swim Programme. This is a national syllabus for delivering aquatics and provides stages for children to progress and become competent, confident and safe in water. The Tempus Swim Academy teaches water safety and skills for life.

Classes consist of blocks of 10 weekly sessions to form a 50 week swim school.

Classes consist of weekly half hour sessions. This enables us to place more emphasis on continual assessment. Swimmers will be placed in named groups ranging from Octopus to Sharks. Each child will be given a Success Tracker and will also have the opportunity to achieve awards as they progress through the Swim Academy.

Lessons continue during school holidays, but we break for two weeks at Christmas.

All of our instructors are qualified by the Swimming Teachers Association and attend regular CPD training in order to maintain quality teaching and ongoing development. All Teachers are also CRB checked prior to employment.

For pricing information please see our fees and charges or look at our Learn and Swim membership on our membership packages page. For any further information please contact reception.
