Due to popular demand we have continued with the Cornwall Triathlon Series for 2016. This year the Series will consist of 6 sprint distance triathlons brought to you by the Tempus Leisure Events Team. In order to complete the Series competitors must have completed at least 4 events.

Organisers will look at the progress of the Series during the year and may need to alter it accordingly. If events are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or adverse conditions the Series will reduce the number of qualifying events as appropriate.

The Cornwall Mini Triathlon Series for children is now in its third year and consists of 4 events for 2016. The four triathlons take place at various venues around Cornwall starting in April and ending in July. You do not need to be a member of a club to enter these events; if you’re keen, come and give it a go.

Children must be at least 8 years of age by the end of this year to compete in the mini triathlons. The distances for each discipline will vary depending on a child’s age and also depending on the event; please see the individual event pages for details.

Bodmin and Helston Mini Triathlons are including a 15/16 year old age group this year. For Wadebridge and Liskeard there will be opportunities for this age group to compete on the Sunday at the adult events.

Triathlon Series Clothing

We will be selling Triathlon Series 2016 hoodies and t-shirts. The hoodies are red and the t-shirts are white, the design and size guide is available to view below.

We will be handing the items out at Wadebridge Mini Triathlon however if you cannot attend this event we can arrange for collection from a Tempus Leisure facility after 23 May.

You can purchase the clothing when you enter any of the Mini Triathlon events using the online entry system.

T-Shirts – White Cotton Top
Age 6-12: £11 (or £9.50 when bought alongside a hoody).
Adult XS or S: £13.50 (or £11.50 when bought alongside a hoody)

Hoody – Red
Age 6-12: £17.50
Adult S: £23

There will be no exchanging of sizes once the order has been placed and there will be no refunds available.

Please Note: The closing date for clothing orders is 27 April 2016 and there will only be one order placed this season. Please make sure you order your clothing before this date even if you are not entering an event until later in the year.

Please note: When registering a child, the age group that they are in is dependent upon their age on 31 December 2016 and not their age on the day of the race. If your child turns 15 during this calendar year they will no longer be eligible to compete in the mini triathlons.
